WHAT WE DO
Therapy that starts with you, not a checklist
At Atara Health, care begins with a real conversation. Your provider takes the time to understand what’s going on, then builds a plan around you, whether that’s therapy on its own or therapy paired with medication management.
For Mary and Norm, psychotherapy and behavioral health care are personalized, targeted, and built for results that last. Every plan starts with genuine conversation rather than a symptom checklist, and treatment stays rooted in practical, sustainable solutions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. For some patients, that means therapy on its own. For others, it means pairing therapy with medication management. Either way, care stays authentic, and it stays focused on what actually works for you.
Our psychotherapy practice spans children through adults, with families closely involved whenever a younger patient is in treatment. Within that, we place particular focus on men’s mental health, a population that’s often the most hesitant to seek help and the hardest to match with the right provider.
Your provider determines how much time each session needs and how often you should be seen, based on what is actually going on for you, rather than a fixed template applied to every patient.
Many patients choose to combine therapy with medication management under a single provider, ensuring continuity of care rather than coordination between separate offices.
Our Mission
To provide thoughtful, individualized behavioral health care for adolescents, young adults, and adults, combining psychotherapy and medication management to support lasting well-being for every patient we serve.
